Happy Birthday, MU!

Happy birthday to you!
Happybirthday to you!
Happy birthday dear M....
Happy birthday to you!

Trust me: that was much more melodius than if I had actually sung it.
Your cyber-present is also quite dishy. Does it border on porn-for-knitters?

Have a great day.

Silver & Black

Will the lockout end?

Will this be the year that the Raiders arise anew?
Has the Raider Nation sold enough tickets to fill their stadium?

Will we have a winning or another break even season? Positives, both.

Like the Raiders, my poor little fella has had his ups and downs, and taken way too many punches....

Will I be able to get a new antenna ball?

Do they still make these things?

A knitted film

Stumbled across the most amazing little film made by Charlotte Blacker a student in the UK who knitted/created a stop motion film for her university dissertation. The Little Red Plane. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2K1VI6sLdY It is beyond charming. Enjoy!

Shiba Inu Puppies

I got addicted to the Shiba Inu Puppy cam a month or more ago. Yes, puppies! Not a kitty in sight, although the Shiba Inu's paws have been described as being catlike. It was amazing to observe how quickly six little puppies matured from a kind of cabbage roll state into miniature dogs. It was exciting to see their ears gain definition, tails extended and then curled (!), whines became barks, and crawling gave way to standing and then leaps of joy... and what big teeth they grew. All this and more in only two months. Alas, during the week of their 2-month birthday, they began to disappear one or two at a time. My favorite Charlotte was one of the last to go to her forever home. Now only one remains. A keeper, I think.
