Almost perfect day

Thursday was almost perfect. I had taken the day off from work to spend time with visiting family, but woke up with some ailment that my co-workers have been sharing. We all just hung out at home. The sun was shining for the first time in days and it was almost warm. So I spent a few hours sitting on our little deck, watching the deer graze, and knitting! You may recognize the infamous Brandywine Shawl v2.3. I ripped it out for the second time and started to re-knit it. I hope the third time is a charm because the Habu linen is starting to show a little wear and I was very careful when I took it apart. It is also a gorgeous shawl when done correctly. (Shawl was designed by Rosemary Hill and is her pattern is available for purchase.) So far so good....

Hope you are feeling better. Your shawl is beautiful. Funny, I've had that pattern in my queue forever and just picked yarn for it recently. Take care.
