Fawn Nursery

It's Spring! The beginning of new life is quite evident at our "nursery." Saw our first newborn about two weeks ago. S/he was so tiny, but what a jumper! That little baby couldn't step straight but was able to jump like an Olympian. I saw another, younger pair of twins earlier this week with their mother, a smaller (younger?) doe, but no sign of her this morning. Instead we had a sightly weary doe and five fawns. Only two are hers, I think. They made a small parade as they left the yard.
